Glimmer GroveTerms of Use
These terms apply when you download and play Glimmer Grove (“the app”), published by Zamverse (“we”, “us”). By installing or playing the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the app handles.
Who can play
Glimmer Grove is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play Glimmer Grove on your own devices for your own non-commercial entertainment. The app, its art, music, sounds, text, levels and code belong to Zamverse or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy, sell, rent or redistribute them, or use them to build a competing product.
Free to play, ads and optional purchases
The app is free to download and play. It shows ads served by Google AdMob, and some ads are optional (for example, watching a video for a reward). The app also offers optional in-app purchases. You never have to buy anything to play. Where we ask for consent about ads, we do so as described in the Privacy Policy.
Purchases, refunds and virtual items
- All purchases are made and billed through Google Play (Google Play Billing). We do not see or store your payment card details.
- Refunds and cancellations are handled by Google Play under its own terms and refund policies. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but you can email us at support@zamverse.com if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
- Coins, hints, boosters and other virtual items in the app have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold, gifted or transferred to another person or account, and they are only for use inside the app.
- Items you bought can be restored through Google Play on a new device where the app offers a restore option. Progress that is stored only on your device can be lost if you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we may remove the items or benefits that came with it.
Fair use
Please play fairly. You agree not to:
- cheat, or use bots, scripts, macros, modified versions of the app or other tools that give you an unfair advantage or tamper with the game or its purchases;
- reverse engineer, decompile or interfere with the app, its ads, its purchase checks or any service it connects to, except where the law allows it;
- abuse refund or payment systems, or try to obtain items without paying for them;
- use the app in a way that is unlawful or that harms other players or us.
If we reasonably believe these rules were broken, we may reset or remove items or progress that were gained unfairly, or stop the app working for the affected device.
Supporter names and the Wall of Honor
Glimmer Grove may offer optional “Support” purchases. They are ordinary in-app purchases made through Google Play. They are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible, and they do not give any advantage in gameplay. In return, supporters can be recognised on the Wall of Honor. The Wall is public: it is shown on the Wall of Honor page at games.zamverse.com and inside Zamverse games that have a Wall, including games other than Glimmer Grove, together with the name of the game you supported and your support level. These rules apply to supporter names (“Supporter names”):
- You choose the name. A name is shown only if you choose to type one in. If you do not, or if you choose the anonymous option, you appear as an anonymous supporter. Anonymous is the default.
- Shown only after the purchase is confirmed. Your name is published on the Wall only after Google Play has confirmed the purchase. We check this with Google Play before we publish anything. Until then the name is not public.
- What you may use. Use a name you are happy to show publicly. Names must not contain contact details, web addresses, offensive, hateful, sexual or illegal content, advertising, or the name of another person or organisation that you are not entitled to use, and must not suggest that you work for or speak for Zamverse or Google.
- Moderation. Names are checked by automatic filters and may be reviewed by us afterwards. A name that fails the checks, or is reported and found to break these terms, may be shown as anonymous or removed from the Wall. This does not entitle you to a refund from us.
- Removal. We remove a name from the Wall if the purchase is refunded or reversed, or if you ask us to. Anyone can also ask us to remove or anonymise a name they think is inappropriate.
- How to ask for removal or to report a name. Email support@zamverse.com with the name of the app, the name as shown on the Wall, and the approximate date of the purchase. Do not send payment card details. We will act on requests as soon as we reasonably can. Where the app has a Report option on a supporter, you can use that as well.
We handle the information involved in the Wall as described in the Supporters and the Wall of Honor section of our Privacy Policy.
Changes to the app and availability
We may update the app, change or remove features, levels, items or offers, or stop providing the app, for example for security, legal or technical reasons. We will try to avoid removing things you paid for without a good reason. The app may need an internet connection for some features such as ads, purchases and Google Play Games, and we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty that the app will meet your needs or run without interruption, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or progress. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited, including your rights as a consumer where you live.
Ending these terms
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the app adds a new feature. We will update this page and the “Last updated” date, and where a change is important we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
